AetherX Rewrite Announcement

We're making major changes to ensure AetherX's future stability. Here's what you need to know.

This wasn't an easy decision, but it's necessary for AetherX's long-term health.

Why We're Rewriting

  • Version Conflicts - The bot was running two different codebases simultaneously
  • Bug Accumulation - Months of patches created unstable spaghetti code
  • Database Issues - Frequent lockups made features unreliable

What This Means

Temporary Changes:

  • Dabloons Reset - The old database is retired (all balances cleared)
  • Feature Availability - Some commands temporarily disabled

Future Improvements:

  • Fresh Start - Everyone will receive 500,000 Dabloons when the new database launches
  • Reliability - New infrastructure to prevent lockups
  • Feature Preservation - All your favorite commands will return

Development Timeline

This will be a slow, careful process. We'll post regular updates about:

  • Completed feature migrations
  • Database progress
  • Upcoming changes

Gambler's Paradise Has Arrived!

After extensive testing and development, we're proud to release one of our biggest updates yet!

New Features

Here's what's new in the Gambler's Paradise update:

Casino Minigames:

  • Blackjack - Try your luck against the dealer
  • Slots - Spin to win with our colorful slot machine
  • Highlow - Guess if the next number will be higher or lower

Currency System:

All games now use our new Dabloons currency system. Earn them, spend them, and try not to lose them all!

Profile Improvements:

  • Completely reworked $profile command
  • New toggle function to customize your profile display

Important News

During testing, we unfortunately corrupted our database and had to perform a complete reset. This means everyone starts fresh with their Dabloons balance. We apologize for any inconvenience!

Highlow Multiplier:

As promised in our last update, we've added the streak multiplier to Highlow! Each correct guess increases your multiplier (up to 5x), giving you bigger rewards until you guess incorrectly.

Here's what you can expect in our upcoming release:

This will be a bit of a mess so please bear with us.

Gambler's Paradise Update

We're calling our next update the "Gambler's Paradise". If you don't understand what that means, it means that our current minigames are being updated to make use of our new currency system. The Dabloons you have can be used for Slots and Blackjack right now. In the future there will be more options.

Current Work:

  • Fixing bugs with the Blackjack minigame
  • Improving visual presentation
  • Slots will be addressed after Dabloon bugs are fixed

Music Commands:

The music commands are still broken but we're working on those soon (there's just too much to do all at once). We'll post another blog once we have that sorted out - don't worry!

Earning Dabloons

We're already thinking of ways for our users to earn Dabloons:

  • Chatting (1 Dabloon per message every 10 seconds - passive income)
  • Highlow minigame (10 Dabloons per win)
  • Leveling up (being reworked)

Level System:

We're aware the level system is a little bit broken and we're working on it (databases aren't the easiest you know).

Future Possibilities

If we had the ability to have a backend for the website for a dynamic end, we'd start making a dashboard to allow more control over AetherX. Unfortunately we don't have any funds to work with so we're doing what we can.
